Kinda wondering if it's a shortend Slash 4x4 LCG that isn't quite as short as the 4x4 Pede/Telluride chassis...........

UPDATE: Here it is! Pretty cool looking, different chassis than the slash. Same design, but not dimensions.

My hope is this will spur people to get into 1/10 4x4 truggy and more brands will follow. I need some competition for my Tekno ET410.

For the 1/10 4wd ST market, this is HUGE! To have traxxas follow tekno in their footsteps is absolutely amazing for the class.

On a side note, this thing looks pretty redesigned from the slash 4x4... even the driveshafts look different at the joints.

Is it really going to be competitive vs Tekno without a center diff? Or will people add the slash center diff and call it good?

No, I don't think it'll be competitive at all. The Slash 4x4 wasn't very competitive. I think it'll drive the market, though. Every other hobby company is, in my opinion, competing against traxxas for their customers. 90% of us start with a traxxas. Driving the market will drive more competition from other brands.

The clipless body is a nice touch. The lcg chassis should make this handle nicer than some of the Stampede 4x4 to Rustler 4x4 conversions out there. Now we'll see Rustler 4x4 to LCG Stampede conversions?

I'm thinking of getting one. My ET410 is way too nice to bash with, the Rustler 4x4 would be fun to take to the BMX track or whatever.

The trend was set by HoBao roughly 10 years ago

HoBao Hyper 10TT (Transformer Truck)... Tekno would pay homage to this name and include Autobot and Decepticon decals with the ET410 kit, ha!

I ran this car at the club in my area and it was extremely competitive on turf, only problem was that it was a very dated design and I had to make a ton of modifications to get it setup properly for turf:

PR RACING- ST-1 1/10 Electric 4WD Stadium Truck Pro Kit, modern design with far more tuning options than what HoBao has to offer

This truck will spark some to become interested in a market of RC and hopefully move them into other brands. I will buy one myself, they seem nimble and will rip with the VXL system.

Coming from a truggy Stampede 4x4 im excited to see the new chassis. That is the one area where mine is flawed is the COG compared to the Hyper 10TT and ET410. So far the only issues i have had with beating them is the occasional roll over due to the higher COG. Other than that the Stampede 4x4 conversion can easily keep up with/beat the ET410 and Hyper 10TT.

Im hoping that i can just buy the chassis and keep the front and rear the same since it looks like the arms are smaller on the Rustler 4x4 compared to the Stampede 4x4(widths are listed different on amain). Also, it looks like the same hubs and knuckles so no 2.2 wheels/tires. Still going to have to use SCT wheels to compete unless the class goes to 2.8's.

Nice truck and glad Traxxas went with a LCG chassis design. Hope a few of the parts can be used to make a good 1/10 4wd racer.

Curious how this will compare to the losi tenacity truggy. This looks way better!!!
I have been begging for a decent/10 4×4 truck for years. Guess it's time for me to pony up the cash
