Is there any way I can put a 540 sized motor in my team associated rc18mt and if so will I need a new esc. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

No.

I'm sure with a lot of chopping you could. But it wouldn't look anything like a 18mt anymore.

Why do you want to put one in?

The ESC depends on the motor.

All you want to do is put a 540 motor in the 18t? Just set it in the battery tray! Duh!

I think you can use a 540 size motor,

you have to costumize the engine mount.

Its easy just make new holes for the screws and maybe increase the hole where the pinion gear go through.

I think you should just go brushless if you want more speed. cause if you really think about it you would probably have to extend the chassis then you may have to change the drive line. but if you can figure out how to do it that would be SICK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I have a 8000 in my 18T. It's to the point of uncontrollable.

But then, that's just the driver right
