How does the rb7 compare to the 6.6 on high grip clay? Been out of the hobby for a year but still have about 4 extra sets of MIP pucks bagged, a few diffs, and a bunch of parts so thinking about getting one. Thx

I also upgraded my RB6.6 to 7 parts. The changes are not dramatic, but they definitely help, especially front gull-wing arms, and suspension geometry. For high grip tracks the RB7 is a much better value since all you need is the included laydown transmission.

I just ran the rb6.6 rb7 hybrid on carpet for the first time. I have all rb7 parts except for the chassis. I am wondering how much better it could get? This thing does everything I want it to do. It could maybe use a tad more steering but other than that it drives like a dream.

I've done the same to my 6.6 and went to the RB7 plastics, made a good improvement to the car (needed to get the droop right on the front when using the rb7 front arms, i went with long shocks end then bought the proper low profile front carbon tower)

Anyhow put on the RB7 chassis a few weeks ago, what a difference! as its a shorter wheel base it gives the car loads more steering and the flex characteristics are very different, well worth the money!

Stop tempting me. I did increase the ackerman to give it more steering with the rb7 knuckles. How is the stability with the RB7 chassis?

Do you guys run aftermarket wheels on your RB7's? I tried on a pair of wheels/tire combo from my buddies AE RC10 6.1 and was alarmed to see that the offset was sketchy and i couldn't even get the nut to tighten up to the threaded portion. I wanted to get a few sets of black wheels for my RB6.6 and my Step son's RB7, ones that aren't white... or green..

If you want black wheels, DE Racing Speedline.
