Mugen MBX8 Eco

Wich is the difference between the 12-42T or 13-44T gear on the front and rear diffs? Someone have tried both for compare?

Just read this whole thread; sometimes there's a build issue or gripe, but didn't see anything on here. Had an MBX6 Eco roller nine years ago and loved it, but it was already assembled.
Was considering the Tekno EB48 2.0, but it was out of stock, I'm eager to build and drive something.
Seems like a solid buggy, so I ordered one and it will be here Tuesday on the brown truck.

@MattK43, I'd check some images of what other people run via google; see IF you can find someone who runs the HBL599 and also size the specs of that servo vs the utilized servos. Also, you could spend less and get the ProTek 170SBL; unless you already have the HBL599.

Good idea. I did find a picture of Mayfield running it and he had a longer servo arm on it that he was able to make work on the older buggy. Seems now he is running the ProTek. I had been running the ProTek 170SBL but had it in a $130 Traxxas for a winter basher series. Ha! Had a new HBL599 sitting around and it wasn't going to work for me with the standard arm.
If anyone is running one and can let me know which arm works let me know.
Thanks,

Don't have my kit yet; do these kits come with sealed bearings?

Most likely. Talking to the owner of my LHS once items are loaded onto the boat in China, they have to sit in quarantine 30 days before they leave the port, and the area of China that has seen a lot of the virus is where a lot of RC products are produced. Sounds like the first boats are either on the way or just about to leave port
Separate topic -- What bodys are most of you running, or is anyone spacing the body mounts up at all? I have a Bittydesign that is rubbing the 5mm posts on my battery. Running a Reedy Zapper 5200 with the posts vertical. If I rotate 90* the body contacts the whole battery

I saw Drakes video on his MBX8E setup. He said he runs the Tekkno "Tracktion Drive" system on his. Looking at the video, it looks like he had to turn around his center diff to allow the system to fit on the motor and engage the spur. Has anyone run the "Tracktion Drive" on their MBX8E and if so did you have to flip you center diff (and if you did, was it necessary to cut a second hole in your chassis to provide room for the spur gear, it looks like if I flip the diff, the spur will drag on the chassis).
If anyone tried this, did you like the results driving/racing it over a standard pinion?
