Default Associated V2 Shock Springs vs. V1

I was wondering whether anyone had had any experience in running the new V2 springs, and how they compare to the original V1s? The colours and rates have changed slightly, but there is still a good range to choose from. How would the bigger coils of the newer springs compare to the tighter coils of the older springs with similar rates? Currently running on EOS carpet and using V1 yellow rears (2.4lb) with V1 purple fronts (4.2lb), and looking to try V2 yellow rear (2.3lb) and V2 red fronts (4.6lb)

Many thanks and apologies if this has already been posted before.

Default Testing

There was a post in the b6.1 thread (i believe) where somebody had done some back to back testing. They concluded that Associated had done their homework and if you ignore the numbers and replace like for like based on colour then they are very similar.

Uhhh, they are just springs. Putting them on your car and trying them is the best way for you to see how they change your car. Obviously going from med-soft V1's to the stiffest V2's is not a good comparison. They may change the handling of your car enough that you want to make other changes. They might make your car better, or worse. Try them, then you'll know.
