Thanks I think B64 and Zx6 are the same. I still have zx6 wheels. I bought arms and steering parts too. I just don't know if there is anything that's common that breaks. I'm going to be running 13.5. Are any of you running 13.5 if so what are you gearing? I'm going to be running a Monster maxx .

Lost wheels also fit but need low profile nut on rear. I would get spare inner hinge pins front and rear. Some times hard hits that can break arms also will bend the hinge pins.

I have the following spares in my parts box:
U3305 pivot screws
U7393 front hubs
U7002 steering block
U7334 front arms
U7333 rear arms
U4274 pro ball studs
U7373 front top deck
U7375 rear top deck
U7392 and U7133 quick clips

If you don't have the alloy rear hubs then get an extra set of rear hubs U7392.

I crash a lot ...

Not if you run the fiberglass S2 towers, local guys eat them up on the carpet and turf.
My LHS started stocking them in carbon fiber after drivers complained about Schumacher being out of stock and them breaking.

Are any of you running 13.5? If so what are you gearing? I have a Monster maxx 13.5 and tracks roughly 95x40.

I run the stock spur, and was running a 22 pinion going from memory. I dropped the pinion down to 19 due to my track being smaller and requiring a lot of acceleration to clear jumps coming out of corners at low speed.

however my track sounds smaller than yours

I would try 22 with that motor on your track and check temps etc.

I’ve ran the s2 towers since before they were available. Same pair on my car since I built it. I can’t imagine how bad you have to crash to break them. Is there anything left of the car?

Based on the setup pictures from the IOCC on PetitRC http://site.petitrc.com/setup/schuma...gas2018112325/, does the L1 chassis now include pockets near the battery and under the ESC?

Also, will the carbon fiber center brace shown in the following picture be offered as an additional part or come with the kit?

I really like what they've done with the chassis in terms of the extra machining. The new carbon braces look great too. I think Schumacher should eventually make a center brace standard equipment in the future. IMHO it's kind of needed, unless your track has tiny jumps.

i also like how Orlowski ditched the captured ball end on the rear inner camber link in favor of a conventional ball stud and rod end. Even with a base steel shim, it is impossible to keep tension on the captured ball design without making it bind. Unlike the steering rods, the rear camber link sees too much load. I did the same thing on my L1 after having to constantly retighten the captured ball after every other battery pack.

THe last improvement I'd like to see is a set-screw design for the shock piston. I've had the front shock e clips come off and cause more DNFs than I can shake a stick at. My local track has some pretty big jumps and lots of pipes that you'll eventually brush into if you're trying to find a fast line.

With that said though, the car is still badass and I would not hesitate to recommend it to a fellow racer. It's awesome to see the development continue on the L1.

Thank you for posting. Roughly what is the timeline and will the new chassis and braces be included with the kit?

I think the chassis and braces should be available soon. Few weeks maybe? They rarely release dates until the parts are in stock so hard to say
