Default RC10T4.3 Tire Chatter

I have a basically stock T4.3 (spring and oil changes plus 30k diff fluid and Electrons) that has an issue I can't seem to get rid of. I notice that I get a pretty significant amount of front wheel chatter when cornering at any kind of speed. It leads to very inconsistent handling.

Where to start? It's fairly new (not worn out), and I just can't seem to figure it out.

There is a servo saver built into the steering bellcranks of the B4/T4. It is known to cause the steering to be inconsistent. Take it apart and carefully superglue the two halfs together and put the truck back together. This will let your steering work better, but still save your servo.

You could put an aluminum steering rack on your truck, but you would need a stronger servo.

Any chance your wheels are out of round?
Do you store your car on a flat surface so the foam have flat spots on them? If so, then consider removing wheels each race day or keep the car on a chassis stand.

When's the last time you balanced your wheels?

+1 for gluing the servo saver. No matter how much you tighen them they never work as good as when they are glued.

If you are using the stock tires, and like ribbed tread, then I would look at a softer compound tire like Panther's T553 V Rib ST tire.
