Coast2CoastRc Tekno EB210 1/10th 2wd Buggy Conversion Kit.

Here we have a purpose built 2wd 7075 T6 aluminium chassis with a true 2wd front kick up that has been built and balanced through lots of testing, we also have carbon fibre front top deck and rear mounting blocks that make up the complete conversion kit, there are 5 stock parts that require modification and the purchase of an AE b64d slipper, AE rear drive shaft and a suitable body of your choice, LFR are in the process of making a purpose built body for this conversion kit and will be released once its finalised, until then the AE b64d body fits really nice as pictured.

Ok here is the picture of the conversion kit that can be pre ordered on the Coast2CoastRc.com.au website, the first batch of products will be made in the next 2 weeks time and ship on the Monday the 2nd of April 2018 for those that get your order in and paid by the 26th of March.

The second batch will then follow as the machine guy will be overseas for a couple of weeks from the 26th, cheers
The prices on the website is $ 175.00 AUD - Australian dollars and are including of the GST amount here in Australia,

There will be a lot more information available in the coming days on this thread but for now just some picture info to start off the interest.

We have found through our months of testing and adjusting of the final products to have the adjustability in this conversion kit and option parts to run on a smooth clay track, rough loose track and also on a indoor carpet and astro tracks, the set up for each track is different and some of the option parts help to get the car to handle at its best but the option parts are not required to be competitive

Here is some under the cover pictures of the EB210 conversion kit that shows the conversion kit and its layout, we spent a lot of time shifting the balance to get it right for the conversion kit, we finished with the weight balance as follows.

FRONT LEFT 343 RIGHT 347
SIDE 50% 50%
REAR LEFT 481 RIGHT 474
FRONT 42% 58%

OVERALL WEIGHT 1645 GRAMS

I myself drive on med to low grip tracks so I have installed the brass C and D blocks which adds 29 grams to the rear of the car which shifts the balance to more 40%/60% but that's my driving preference

In these pictures you can see the option front Bezerk carbon fibre tower and camber plate, we found on the loose rougher tracks that we required more laid over shocks so we made a tower with 6 holes with 2 more inner holes and its -2mm so that we could then get the correct ride height with out running out of thread on the shock body, the camber plate also has 2 lower holes to give you more camber and roll centre adjustment

Here we have some close up pictures of the conversion kit layout, before you ask we could have centred and laid the servo over but we started out trying to make a conversion kit with the idea of keeping as many of the stock parts of the EB410 kit and keep it as simple as possible, the balance of the car worked out much better than we thought adjusting the cnc depth in placed to balance the car

Here is my first podium picture with the EB210 conversion kit, finished 3rd at the Keilor Invitational event February 2018 in the open mod class, had a great event and a lot of help from some top Australian drivers that tested and help to set up the buggy

So pictured are the AE B64D slipper diff and AE rear drive shaft required along with the conversion kit to build the EB210 2wd buggy, you have to modify 5 parts along the way but there is a you tube video that talks you through each mod.

Here is the Option parts and sticker sheets that we have made to give you more tuning options of the EB210 conversion kit.

We have a front camber link with 2 extra lower holes for more camber and roll centre adjustment, we have a front shock tower that is -2mm and has 2 extra inner holes for more laid over set up, we have a rear -2mm shock tower, we have a rear shock tower with camber link mounting points for those wanting that set up that helps with flipping the shock to the front of the arms if that's what your after and last of all EB210 sticker sheet that come with the conversion kit but can be purchased separately or more of when pre ordering your kit

I've got my order in! Let's give this conversion a shot folks!

savagesam 03-10-2018 04:57 AM

Well as you can clearly see in this picture when building this EB210 2wd conversion kit you save $ 329.77 USD in spare parts for your EB410 4wd but you could and can also sell these items on, you then have to spend $ 212.97 USD to build the EB210 so infact you actually come out in front $ 116.80, win win I say, yes you can buy and sell cheaper here and there but its just a reference

The master at LFR is making us a custom built EB210 body that will be out in the near future, the prototype one is on its way to me for testing the fit before the final details are added to the design, more angle on the front window looks great, will keep you up to date as we get further into the project 👍

I'm confused... are you saying it's cheaper to buy the 410 parts separately or to buy the 410 kit?
