Well, February 2018 has come and gone, but no sign of a new buggy from Team C.
Reminds me of when the same buggy was announced back in 2014, but never happened .

and we wonder why the car is not a popular car, though it has excellent potential in performance and handeling.weired how team c has an advertisement of needing American team c drivers on Facebook but are quiet about their platform

Well, it looks like they've finally posted something about it on their Facebook page! Looks like another month according to the post. I hope it finally happens. Outdoor season is right around the corner.
Looks like it's gonna be another really nice buggy if it actually gets released.

I made my own also, but took a slightly different approach. It looks like you used the electric chassis with nitro side guards? I used the nitro chassis with electric side guards. Originally had the nitro side guards on mine, but had trouble finding a body that would fit decent. It was just way too wide.
What body did you use and also, what battery tray did you use?
I'll try posting pics of my setup. Looks pretty much identical to the TM8E pics.

Here's my version of the TM8E. Pretty much a direct bolt-on conversion. Had to redrill the holes for the servo mount because it interfered with the steering rack at full left turn. Also had to drill one hole in chassis for the Losi battery tray.

I'm looking for a shorter battery tray if possible. The Losi tray is long to accommodate those longer oddball lipos. Had to put foam blocks at both ends of the battery to take up the slack. Not a big deal, but it would be nice if it was shorter. I was surprised how close it was to fitting the stock holes in the nitro Team C chassis. Only needed to drill one hole in the chassis. Had to drill a couple holes in the battery tray to line up with existing chassis holes. Also ground a little material off of the tray so I could move it more towards the center line without rubbing the spur gear. Very little effort to make it fit nicely.

Mbx6e battery tray, mbx6 body is a direct fit with the nitro side guards.

Cool, thanks. I test fitted my buddy's mbx7 eco body and it would work with the nitro side guards. The body was actually a little too wide, but would probably work perfect with velcro on the sides.
Now that I have the electric side guards fitted, the Losi 2.0 body is a perfect fit. Waiting for the season to start so I can see what other options there are. Gonna try associated and kyosho lids once I see the guys that are running those brands.
Still curious to see what the TM8E body looks like. In the pics, it looks like they're using the same body as the T8Ev3, but there's no way a 4S brick will fit under it.

Looking at your profile pic looks like you're racing at family hobbies raceway in new jersey? If so I will be out this spring/summer I race nitro but might dabble in brushless 1/8 if nitro is dead at track. Would like to take a look at your buggy if thats OK bro
