I know how that feels too man seems like everyone is losi/tekno/ae at the track. I don't race much there anymore as 1/8 stuff is not the ideal cars to run there.
I will try to get out a few times this spring .

Why do they insist on using MSRP pricing? Nobody in their right mind is going to pay $800 for that kit. I realize that they're not actually selling for that much, but if someone was interested in trying the new buggy, that price tag would definitely turn them away.

I'm most interested to see if they beefed up the shocks on the new buggy. The shafts on the T8 shocks are on the thin side. At a glance they look like they're for 10th scale shocks. We've bent and broken lots of them over the past few years.
Aside from that, it looks like they've addresses all of the other problem areas. The straight cut gears should cut down on the gear boxes wearing out at the pinion bearings. The new arms look awesome and should eliminate the twisting that the T8 arms suffered from. As long as they're not too stiff, they should work great.
I'm most likely gonna pick up a TM8E this season. I've been putting a lot of laps in with my converted T8E and it works really well. Feels like a totally different car with the single battery layout. Not quite as neutral feeling and predictable as the dual 2S layout, but definitely feels more aggressive. I've been doing some tuning to get the rear end a little more planted, but overall the car feels good.

I will post pic's this week, took me 4-5 hours of not trying hard to build it up. Shocks are large, shafts are tapered at the threads and take a 3mm nylock to fasten the pistion. Has the spiral cut gears not the pre production straight gears from Charlies video. I don't see anything that is going to hold me back from my previous 8ight's and Tekno. Waiting on a battery to get here to test it.

Sorry I built it and it sat on a shelf for a month. I have one pack through it so far. Nothing really stood out as weird handling wise, it seem to turn well on power, a little more turn in then the 8ight it replaced, jumped level, didn't shred any parts in the first 5 minutes. I'll try to get some video/pics of it on the track friday if I manage to make it out.
