Of course brushless is good to use! Might do as good in your T4. I think it might go up to 30-40mi/h depending on your batt. The good thing is, it has increased run time, and very3x LOW maintainance. The ss5800 is like a 12-13T mod motor.

Run it with a 7 cell pack and you will be all set. Great combo and works very well.

the 5800 brushless I found at least was more like a 14 turn motor, with a well turned 19turn able to be very competitive against it.

The advantage of the 5800 brushless is the maintenance or lack there of you have to do as well as the torque it puts out. Also longer runtimes are a plus.

If you are looking for all out speed, look into a GTB, I would do the 6.5 version but if you really just want speed, the 5.5 will be your choice.

Default Ofcourse, it is good - silly

I have one in my truck and it 's fabulous. The torque is also very good but it is more like a 15 turn motor. Why do these silly people keep saying that it's a 12 turn mod ? No, No, No. Unless your 12 turn motor is a dud.

People that do not personally have one ( a 5800ss or a good 12 turns ) should keep their mouths shut. There, I vented and it feels good.
