is there a huge difference between the laydown and the layback transmissions? I run B6.1D on high bite indoor clay/good dirt. and it came with the layback and Rivkin ran there and had a laydown in his car would a regular club racer notice the difference.

I have a lay down in my stock b6.1d and the lay back in my mod b6.1d. The lay down has less chassis roll and jumps much flatter. I just ordered a lay down for my mod car. It seems much more stable. Will see how it reacts to more power.

Hi guys

Just finished building up my b6.1 FL and having an issue with it I haven't had on any of my other cars. The ball cups seem a little too loose for the ball studs. Every time I try to adjust them they will pop off (with very little pressure). It's quite frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this??

The ballcups on my T6.1 were so bad I wound up going to schumacher captured links and an aluminum rack. Not sure if they'd fit the buggy but worth a shot. Only did it on steering rods.

When building any new turnbuckles it helps to screw ball cups on as far as they go then back out to you're required length, helps free up the threads.

Using Roger's method and adding a little grease helps too.

IM thinking I might try the Xray T4 ball cups. They seem much tighter on the ball studs.

Did you tap the cups to make them adjust easy?
