Guys, for another fan idea try J-Remy over at Shapeways.com. He has a 30mm fan mount that essentially is a copy of AE’s waterfall.

Are the wheel hex offsets the same in both the 6.1 and 6.1d?

Thanks.
My first R1 liked 72/27. My second one needed 72/28.

I always start low and work up. Many others seem to do the opposite.

Run with a group faster than these guys?

Euro Offroad Series
because they run MOD.

Euro Offroad Series
They run mod, not 17.5.

been thinking about getting one as right now i have the Schelle set up and have broken 4 fans already.. It might be due to casing a triple but the track has changed since I last went so hopefully more more broken blades. They don’t really have any big booters anymore in this layout

I never break any fans. I use this on my 30mm fan.

Neil Cragg did use a ball diff in EOS round 5 2017/18 on high bite astroturf.
Came second after Jorn Neumann.

I think half the problem people have with ball diffs is the "modern" recommended build procedure. I still build them the way it was recommended 20 years ago and a stock AE ball diff running on outdoor dirt will last me all summer and still be smooth at the end of the season. I ran a ball diff on indoor carpet with slick tires in buggy and stadium truck this winter and they would last me 3 or 4 race days and 3 or 4 practice days before they needed to be rebuilt. I personally hate the way a gear diff feels even on carpet.

What kind of question is that ?
We are discussing gear diff or ball diff on carpet / astroturf. Im just saying Cragg used ball diff at EOS round 5.
My guess is that he would not use ball diff if he hadd to rebuilt it after each heat.
He was also using a laydown gearbox and a 6.5t motor.
