I'm confused, I see an "E" in the product name implying this is electric and layout pics which show electric, but the box art shows it as a nitro

If they're gonna take a short cut on box art, it makes me question what other short cuts have been taken?

For example, I have owned many 1/10 HoBao cars in the past, and I found it necessary to completely rebuild each car. None of the rubber seals were properly greased, no thread lock used and they used some sort of thick grease to pack the diffs instead of regular diff fluid. The springs and pistons needed to be re-tuned with generally poor box stock setup for loose pack outdoor tracks.

I'd like to know what has changed with this release, are there any pro-setup sheets or is this geared for the basher in mind?

*** EDIT
I will say all the carbon bits look nice!

I wouldn't worry about that.. I think there is just one picture available right now, but the E box can be different..
This is the Pro kit with many option and the carbon parts

my hyper VSe had red loctite in all the right places, well prepared shocks. but indeed, diff were filled with very little of something that could be grease. so you got to refill those properly
and you got to glue the tires !

how did you know it was red Loctite brand?

I've always used blue thread lock and just recently started using Vibratite gel thread lock, that stuff is my favorite!

i used the term loctite, but it might not be from the LOCTITE brand. i just saw a strong red thread lock on some screws
i think hobao did a good job, except for the diffs filled with some kind of grease...

glad to hear they're using thread lock on this kit, though I'm surprised they are using a red thread lock, I have to wonder if it's a medium strength that might be colored red from a different generic brand that doesn't use the same color strength chart as Loctite brand?

Where can I find this particular model? All the ones I see online don't have any of the carbon upgrades or arm stiffeners.

That's exactly what I was wondering. HoBao does not show any thing new on their site other than the DC-1 Trail Truck.
