or is it AJTrollin? I am on the fence as well, but the EB410 is way cheaper! It needs to add a lot for the price difference.

If the YZ2 is an indication, the parts quality on the Yokomo line I feel is a bit better than Tekno's EB410. However, I will say its like the Tekno part quality is NOT flat out garbage or anything like that. I feel its slightly better than the AE B6 I had here and the Hot Bodies D413 I had here.
I think the big factor when pricing the vehicles in comparison to each other is to look at things that one has and the other doesn't, or anything that appears to be a necessary upgrade or darn near close to it (right now, it seems like the Shock caps and titanium turnbuckles come to mind on the Tekno, and maybe the rear hingepin mod). Yokomo does have more graphite to it too for percieved value.
Pricewise when you factor that in, it does bring it up closer to YZ4 SF territory, but, I don't know if there are things on the YZ4SF right now that look like must haves, or, at least, to get similar equipment levels (aluminum shock caps for one).
Personally, I think the biggest factor I would consider between the two from what I am seeing are handling characteristics. For my driving style, the tekno has been amazing on carpet. It just flat out steers in a manner that I love and I factor that in probably due to the orientation of the electronics being so far forward on the chassis.
Personally I can't imagine how the vehicle would be if they went Yokomo part level quality on it. That could be nuts, maybe pricewise too lol.
I am pretty much the only person driving a Yokomo in some form in these parts, and love my YZ2 DTM and looking forward to reading more on the YZ4 SF, and who knows, you never know what could happen

Now, again this will probably come down to personal preference as to be fair my buddies old Losi 22-4 2.0 steering fit my driving style quite well, I just can't stand the car

Anyone notice a lack of material around the screw holes on the back of chassis?

Yes. And looking at the pic of a bare chassis has me wondering if it is something that is a design flaw or just a bad batch, that were cut to thin in the back?

That is what I am trying to find out. Are all the ones like that or is it just random luck if you happen to get one that is cut so thin? Would like to find out before pulling the trigger.

Oh...that makes me cringe to see that cut so thin near the main mounts.
