Default Indoor tracks in western PA

Has any new indoor off-road tracks sprung up near Pittsburgh or surrounding area in the last year? Since McCulloughs in sarver has closed nothing even comparable can be found. Has anyone tried to rent/lease the track/tracks from the current owner of McCulloughs or would anyone be interested in trying to put together a track to practice/race at? Iím not in this to open a hobby shop or make money. Iím willing to pitch a few hundred per month with a few others so we could continue to race and enjoy this hobby.

It's a shame that Doug and his tracks are gone. I'm sure you are familiar with Big Dogs in Stoneboro. There is also a brand new facility in Girard PA called Spirit Controlled Hobbies. Very nice place. I took my son to their inaugural race, and hope to take him to any big events they hold in the future. They are in the process of adding a full hobby shop.

Wasn’t real impressed with Big Dogs I mean I’m not knocking it but they seem to be more into circle track racing than the off-road scene. Thanks for the tip on Spirit I’ll have to check it out sometime soon. I live in Kittanning, I think Girard is around a 2 hour drive from me. I’d like to find something like wagonhill hobbies or McCulloughs. It’s hard to believe that theirs not any pro level tracks in Pittsburgh. I was almost positive that someone would’ve opened one or continued to run McCulloughs after that happened. Anyway thank you for the reply
