Default wheels

I just bought a roller from here on the board. I'm new to stadium truck and losi all together and wondered if the truck wheels were specific to the 22t series trucks. I'll be going through this thread for sure later this week. Thx.

22t offset is unique to tlr, unfortunately.

so I haven't raced rc's since the mid 90's with a XXXT, I am looking at getting back into racing and I believe this is the kit I'm choosing, can you guys recommend a good esc and mod motor, not looking to go too cheap, but dont want to break the bank either

Thanks!

My recommendation for something good that doesn't break the bank, is Hobbywing esc / motor and Protek servo.

Will this truck work well in loose dirt situation? Or should the stand up trans be purchased? Does the stand up trans use the same internal parts?

Default Diff

The roller i bought came with what looks like a new rtr gear diff take out. Would i be ok to run it at first or just stick with the ball until i can get the aluminium one? Also what would be a good fluid starting point? I have 5k & 7k associated oils at the moment. This would be ran on carpet. Thx.

I have an extra aluminum gear diff that I would let go for $45 shipped. Let me know

Works great in loose dirt for us. Just needs the brass antisquat block and a gear cover for the laydown transmission to keep dirt out of the gears.

Looking at the pictures on Facebook from the Carpet Race in Las Vegas, I see non angled ball cups on the front. What partnumber are these? Do I need longer turnbuckles for those ball cups?
Thanks!

Can anyone help me out?

Running on carpet with a tekin 8.5 and tekin rs pro gen 2..gear diff as well 30cst

I ran 1 club race and now something in the tranny/drivetrain is slipping. The trucks motor winds up but the truck barely moves. It's not the slipper cause I've over tightened it and still nothing. When you throttle up the truck you can see the top shaft moving.. I've disassembled the transmission several times and have seen nothing, all the bearings are in place and not 1 gear looks chewed..spins freely with no tough spots . The same for the gear diff nothing looks chewed but it spins freely

Anyone have any tips on what direction I should go

Check the drive pins on each CVD to make sure you didn't break one. Same goes for the pins behind your sun gears in the diff.

Yes they do, any 22T wheel should work on the 4.0
