Who's running on carpet? Are you competitive with the other brands?

Default 22T 4.0 on carpet

I picked up a 22T 4.0 the other week from a friend. First time back in a stadium truck since my XXT-CR! I ran it last weekend and I was very happy with the performance of the truck. I think Iíll make a few tweaks for the next outing and Iím sure this truck be amazing. The first night as the track picked up grip the inside tire rear tire started picking up and by the main it was traction rolling. I should have stopped saucing the tires after practice and maybe make the springs a little stiffer for my driving style.

Default What Extra Parts are Needed

Someone my have already ask this. Just picked up the 22T 4.0 and was wondering if there are any particular parts that are common to breaking that I should keep in the box?

Appreciate the feedback,

Appreciate the feedback,
Inserts on the front wheel spindles can break, that's about it. If ballcups keep popping off, look into replacing them with a fresh one.

Appreciate the feedback,
I've only broken front end parts on mine. Spindles, inserts and ball cups are the top parts I would have on hand. A-arms maybe, but I haven't had issues with mine.
Ultimately what you break will depend on how clean you drive. If you hit a lot to stuff, then maybe get a few more parts.

If you are going to run the planetary gear diff, make sure to shim the stub axles and/or use longer driveshafts, IIRC from the 22T 2.0.

Just wondering if anyone has tried different shock pistons for setup and what the difference is. Something like the 1.4 x3 hole pistons vs stock.

My thoughts on the 22T 4.0 vs. the T6.1...

Default Jconcepts Finnisher body

Did some running with the Jconcepts Finnisher body for the 4.0T and I like this body a lot. Truck felt like it jumped better and did kinda just everything better. Also doesnít look too bad either. Part number 0367
Give it a try if youíre in the market for a new body.
