I only ran mine once on EOS carpet, and I was able to hunt down the buggies. JConcepts tires, HRC front and rear, high diff and hub carriers, brass below the servo, electronics, 80g below the battery. Racing Performer purple/black springs, 550 oil in the front shocks, planetary diff with 15,000 Yokomo oil, and IIRC a light to medium rear sway bar to tune in on-power steering. I think that's about it, sold the truck meanwhile due to a lack of time.

Do you have the TLR part #'s for the weights?

Looking to confirm KYO springs (which appears to be a common setup for dirt), will actually fit this truck with the shocks in the front (of the rear)? I tried to install the AE truck specific springs, and even with the zero offset cups, I could not get a 28mm ride height (with body off).

What are folks using for springs other than the stock/old school TLR truck front springs, and buggy/truck rear standard springs?

I used the servo plate and one of the 25 g plates. The 80 g brass plate is a generic item bought on eBay a while ago, which has the footprint of a square pack/saddle packs.

I'm running AE truck springs (54/72mm).

I couldn't get the ride height anything close to 28mm, especially in the rear with the shocks forward.

Well, mine is a 3.0 with a 4.0 rear end, but I'm at 27mm ride height. I don't have my truck handy, maybe post your setup.

Ride Height is easy with TLR Spring

You can cut a coil off the springs if you need to get a little lower.

Agreed Frank!

I just wanted to try some setup things with the KYO or AE springs.

First time out with new kit and popped off ballcups on 2 different runs. Not bad crashes either. What's the fix for this issue? Does Lunsford ballstuds help, different ball cups?? Thanks

I used these HD ballcups, everywhere that doesn't need the angled cups.
