1/10th scale off-road usually dies down in the summer. I'm sure plenty of people will get a D418 later in the year. Just what I have witnessed for the 28+ years I've been racing 1/10th scale off-road.

Yea the price doesn't help its steep for a 1/10 4wd buggy although , it comes with all the upgrades you would bought maybe but I know a guy a race with that can get it for me for much cheaper for me.

So far ive only seen one guy run one he gets a discount sponsored it looks pretty good on the track compared to a stock D413 tell you that . Yea the Tekno 4wd buggy is cheaper however you still need some upgrades I hear from others I race with .

It maybe more but you get all the arm mounts and then some.
at $17/pair its about $130 in extras you dont have to buy.
I hear the tekno breaks easy.

And you can beat the fact that the
d418 and d219 (prototype) won the euro championships last week!

we all have the arm mounts from the 413 and 216, whopie doo. The driver won, the car was only the tool... apparently very competitive

I get that but I don't have hardly anything on my current D413 no alum chassis just the alum steering rack, and the alum top plate for the center diff . So this would be worth for myself the new buggy for sure since my is pretty warn out .

okay well Iíll ask another question.
how much have you had to replace on your D413 because of broken parts?
honestly I have only had to replace bearings and the 4x20 arm mount screws in 2 years.

car is built proof and no extra $$$ needed in upgrade parts like other companies do to be competitive.

Another plus is you dont need to buy a carpet version and a clay version kit if you plan to run on different track surfaces.

I can see the price being steep initially but you also spend less money in the long term vs other brands.

I hit a pipe that wasn't exactly rounded out going at a decent speed head, on hit twice nothing broke or got bent seen a Tekno 4wd buggy out there hit it the same pipe once it broke a Rear hub something so to me its a no brainer to get this buggy for how strong it is and yes this once comes with everything already.

I haven't really rebuild my D413 just the steering things to take some slop out but its time for a total rebuild .

Any Ackerman plates come with it? Those are expensive. Can't believe they didn't catch that rubbing issue with so much thought into this kit. They should send a fix to everyone at no charge.

I have no rub with the central diff, I use the exotek central diff, maybe is it the reason why. I' haven't drove it yet, as here in south of France weather is to warm.
My local track is a bumpy rough astroturf track, out of the box the springs are to soft and should be more suited to dirt tracks. Despite it's rare to find, I achieved finding hb springs to drive on my track, 40 rear and 70 front.
As soon as I give it a test I'll let you know, hopefully within 10 days weather should cool down.

I'am building D418 right now
I heard people say that the rear hub are weak, is it true?
Should I go for an exotec aluminum rear hub right now or I should stay with the original plastic hub for now?

if it's the same as the d413, go billet aluminum. The stock lateral arm takes only a handful of impacts before snapping off near the joint.

The hub is bulletproof, the outter lateral link is the problem. Exotek hub and arm mod fixes the issue. Will need new ball stud and plastic link kit from HB to install. Amain has everything needed.
