Man $499.99 little high i think i may be able to get it much cheaper though a guy i know that gets a good discount . Other wise it would be a Tekno which would be much cheaper ordering online or a AE maybe Xray .

yeah, I am curious to see what all was updated for that price. Don't get me wrong the Tekno with its $399.99 price still has items you end up buying anyway that can get it up there in cost that I am hoping are included in that $499.99 price for those looking to buy an HB car.

The kid I sold my D413 has been having a blast from what I can tell with it. So this should peak his interest.

Some good changes, but quite honestly, for those with a D413 already, it may be worth waiting to see if upgrading just the differences isn't a valid alternative.

Chassis/Center Shafts/Arms/Towers (maybe?) being the most notable changes I think? Many D413 racers may have already purchased the Exotek split diff mount, so no added value there. Same with the aluminum caps. Will see. If looking to have an "Extra" buggy or wanting to give HB a try, by all means, seems like a cool kit.

I know there's a lot to be said for keeping some things the same (if ain't broke (or doesn't break!), why fix it?) I get that! For many, including myself, I'm just a racer looking to have some fun. The HB is a great car, and I've had a blast with it. I'm just looking for something different. Not because of any flaws with the HB...not at all... Just looking to switch it up. Sadly the changes in the D418 aren't enough to peak my interest. If I was driving something else already though?......I'd be all over it!! Looks like a solid kit!

I wonder if you already have the exotek chassis if you could take the rest of the new components here, drill the appropriate holes and bolt up. Heck, maybe exotek offers an updated chassis to go with these new components and just bolt up. Give you 2 options for battery placement extremes lol.

That would really up the like ability of the car, drivers could try both setups on a track day with out having to rebuild an entire car.

Of 2020?

Haha j/k. I'm excited for some new parts for my 4wd. I have a set of hard arms and new caster blocks I haven't tried on my D417E.

Well i probably wouldn’t get the new buggy intill summer or fall anyways . In my case the new model would be a big diffrence to me the way it’s layed out especially the center diff towards the Rear end on the chassis and my buggy now is warn sloppy had it for a while .

$500, is too rich for my blood. I would be compelled to look at something a little cheaper.

They should have just called it the D419. You know it, I know it, we all know it.
MX304 and Jdemonto like this.
