also, the springs feel weak for prepped clay surface, I guess I'll have to bump up there as well.
I’m running 28 or 29/69 with a team powers 13.5 V3 motor. I’m running on damp clay on slicks with tons of traction and tried HB70 front springs and 40 rear, and that was better but wasn’t quite firm enough. I tried some AE yellow buggy fronts that are 4.3 in/lb and went to a 1.3mm front sway bar and this was much better. I still want to find something a little stiffer for the rear but I’m getting close.

cool. I've got a smc, 26 was my initial thought that came to mind. Thanks.

nice. I was gonna order some springs, soon. So you still needed firmer springs? It's no wonder set-ups are showing heavy oils in the shocks. I'd guess motor runs on hotter side with those bigger pinion gears.

I think the AE springs I have now will be good, I’m thinking next time I’ll get some stiffer springs for the rear and go back to the 1.2 front sway bar and see how that is. This is with AE 55wt in the front and 40 in the rear. But yeah for high traction you’ll need something stiffer than stock for sure.
My motor has been in the low 100’s with a fan on it. I could probably gear it up a little but I also like how fast it takes off with the spool.

anywhere to get just the blue x rings?

also this link is out is stock. If I search the part number I find some but the pictures of the ones I find with the same part number show a standard o ring. Not an X ring.

Ideas?

sorry.

Are u stating that as long as the part number is good then they will have X rings in the package? Regardless of picture

nice. I have a spool in the middle and the buggy is lighter than stock. I'll probably order 40 and 70 springs as a starting point. You think heavier than that should be a starting point on med to high grip prep clay?

I think that’d be a good starting point, you can always go up if needed. If it’s high traction, 70/40 will be much better to drive than the kit springs, at least that’s what I found.

I think that’s a good place to start. I think maybe even an 80 spring like the yokomo purple. I’m running that plus the 50 out back but that’s on super high bite carpet. Are you running a lcg light shorty to save weight or?

Default Reedy setup

Well, there’s pictures but no setup. That’s disappointing. Looks like a TON of toe in but maybe that’s just the picture.

I think washers are used for to be able to mount the stand off closer in. I have wanted to move the shocks further in on the top, may give this a try.
