That is good news! I don't like the kit ones (too hard to adjust on the fly) so I'll upgrade to these.

I'd really like a slipper for it. Hopefully, it will be out soon.

Mine fit. You just have to make sure your wire tabs are down low on the batteries.

side by side fit, and with corally tubes.

I have a slipper clutch and layshaft being made that will take the B4 slipper assembly so no need for .5 module pinions and spur gears will be available everywhere, should get the test article this week.

3-cells aside is a saddle pack. Tamiya has a 23 tooth pinion out which should bring the ratio to 11.39 I think (with the bigger slipper). This should be low enough for some brushless motors.

Pinion available from rcmart.com but just not sure about other places.

I just received my spares from rc-champ in Japan, and spares for this car are so cheap

Just got a few normal bits like spare set of arms, spare bevel gear set, spare shock tower / skid plate set.
I even got a spare chassis as they were so cheap, about AU$9.00

I also got a set of the alloy input shafts - these things are super light, and again... ridiculously cheap

I'm working on a set-up sheet in pdf from for the car - should have it uploaded to my DI website by Sunday.

I'm seeing a bit of chat about this car, but not much on how it runs on the track. Does anyone have any race experiences to relay? Don't expect it to be a top level competitor, but with a few mods and driven well, it could do OK in stock class I suspect.

Cheers,
Scott

Actually a few guys worldwide have been running them with fairly good results - but I think it's early days in terms of it's potential. So far I don't think anyone's really had the opportunity to race the car enough to gauge it's true potential.

It has potential but it has a few weak spots which need to be adresses before it is capable of racing and being competitive reliably. The basic design is sound though.

What are the weak spots? I'm interested in getting one.
