Default Tire Prep

What is the go to tire prep. Are people just heating and running them? Any sauce or cleaning?

Check your rules for tire prep. Some local venues allow liquid prep applied to tires only (none on the ground), and some only allow warming with heaters.

From what I've been looking at, there's a product called "Draggin' Juice" that seems pretty popular. That's probably what I'll buy for myself actually.

Lots of folks use tire warmers. Some don't. I probably will depending on track temperature.

Currently I am using simple green. Cleaning them off between each run and wiping them dry.. It depends on your tracks rules. Some stuff starts to make things greasy over time.

I've learned to clean them with mineral spirits and they will get grabby over time, I also use wd40 and recently I've been using Monster Grip, the cleaner after the mineral spirits then the conditioner, if the surface calls for it they have a sauce too. everyone should be going on the 2021 NPRC rules at least or more open no more rules.

I recently tried some FDJ Dew tire traction compound that I have for my off road vehicles to run on hard pack clay tracks. It worked great. I now gets harder controllable hits.
