The best answer to this question is to consult the racers at your local track. Anyone else will no doubt tell you what only works at their track.

The murffdog guide is all you need, talk to local racers about tires and maybe sauce and gearing, but from there build your setup around your driving style

The Murfdogg guide is a must have, especially if you're just getting started. I currently run SC10s in a few different dirt oval classes. Your setup depends GREATLY on track, type of class, and rules of that class.
