Default Gmade R1 brass knuckle weight project

Hey gang....Anyone have an R1? I know the new MOD is coming out....Many of us still have the R1 and for me it's new. I met a gentleman thru RCCRAWLER that helped me do the understeer mod. He also had a local machinist take brass bar stock and machine customer knuckle weights. YEHHH....I have a version of this on my Ascender that came Vaterra and I love them. I have been looking for something for the R1 BUT only thing out their is floating caliper weights and I don't want the extra weight rotating and causing stress on my axles. SOOOOOO....Anyone interested in a group project to make knuckle brass weights for their r1? I hope my rating an humble status on RCtech shows that I am NOT a scammer. I am willing to buy the bar stock up front and Joshua who has done this already is going to have the machinist do another run of these. Please PM me if you are interested. I can get you pics of the finished product with weight specs etc. I look forward to hearing from some of you. Have an awesome rest of your week....Peace

PS....These will be spec'ed for the STOCK wheels inner diameter AND using the alum GMADE knuckles.

So I have had a few inquiries. I have pics I can send. This project is NOT going to be cheap because we have to buy brass bar stock by the foot and have a machinist use a CNC machine to cut. Joshua has done this one other time so he has CAD specs. We just need enough guys wanting to do this to divide up the costs. It add's about 7 ounces to the front axle and according to Joshua is a HUGE difference in the performance of the r1. Look forward to hearing from a few of you on this project. tx guys

If you're going to start a thread here about it, at least take a second and post up a pic. Not everyone does FB.

Like many folks on rctech, I used to be able to post pics, but with all the adds and blockers I cant directly do that anymore. I Don't, and don't want to have a cloud based photo bucket so sorry for that. Takes a few seconds to look at FB but if you dont have for the same reasons, I understand..
