Traxxas is offering a "Long Arm Lift Kit" for the TRX4 along with a '79 Ford Bronco body and 2.2 wheels.

Looks awesome: https://traxxas.com/news/new-product/sema-preview

On a slightly less cool note, I was born in 1979 so I guess this means I'm mad old considering this is now a "vintage" body.

Damnit.

Did you see below that? They're going to come out with a partial kit too!

Yes, this will be the first Traxxas that I pick up.

TRX-4 Partial Kit (Links and Shocks pre-built) - unfortunately still comes with electronics so price won't change much.

I plan to get the exact setup demoed when it comes out next year though.

I saw that , but still a good direction for traxxas stepping out of their box.

I never owned a crawler. Is this a good one to get for a beginner's crawler?

Has anyone heard when the Bronco body and lift kit will be available? Traxxas will only tell me 2018. Has anyone heard anything more concrete?

I got the same answer from Traxxas when I emailed them last week.

I was waiting for the kit and Bronco body, but caved last night and ordered a red TRX-4. I'll get the body whenever it finally comes out.

I want to keep my current TRX-4 somewhat stock. I was thinking about buying the kit, putting the long arm conversion set on it and the Bronco body along with some different wheels/tires and making this a larger crawler.

My TRX-4, it's stock so far besides rims/tires/ front bumper/winch and steering servo. Working on it little by little.

Thumbs up TRX4

Thanks bro, the bumper is a rc4wd metal bumper, Servo is a Savox 1268mg, and wheels are Integy billet wheels with the option of Duratrax, stock, and Chinese rubber for now.

The wheels are sweet, at least Integy comes out with so much stuff that at least SOMEthing is going to work and look great eventually!

Believe it or not I actually found a thread where people listed the Integy parts that are actually worth buying for the Traxxas vehicles. Integy, what and what Not to buy

I've been contemplating getting a TRX-4, but I absolutely refuse to buy another rtr. So I am stuck waiting for the kit to come out.
