Default do I want a crawler or rock racer?

I have a B6 and SC5m I take to the track. I'm wanting to drive in my backyard. Which is a hill side with some trails. Not sure if I should get a crawler or a rock racer? Also not sure what to get Axial Scx10 2, Bomber, Yeti. I think I might like both, what truck does both well?

Thanks for the advice

Scale truck more trail less crawl but amazing what they can do. Yeti is a basher/trail thrasher. Wraith/Bomber best of both worlds in my opinion. Will handle some speed when built right but can crawl when built that way and definitely can go scale with them.

I'd definitely say a wraith or bomber. Mine is set up just like that, on 3s its easy to crawl nice and slow but still with a decent top end, 4s is still good for trails with an awesome rooster tail kicking top end.

I vote for either the RR10 Bomber, or Wraith as both are similiar, depending on setup. The SCX-10 1 or 2 definitely more for scale/trail, nothing wrong with these guys and clip along pretty good, again depending on setup. -IMO, I'd stay away from the Yeti, but thats me. No matter what you choose, I'm sure youll have a blast and hopefully end up w more than the whichever you decide on here. Good luck,!

ok, so the bomber is 4wd, sweet, now rtr or kit? looks like kit has aluminum rods that the rtr doesn't. Anything else. Is it cheaper to buy aluminum rods or the electronics. I Hear the esc ae-5 is pretty good. servo seems ok. whats a good esc, servo, motor and radio to get
