if you want Toyota I would suggest looking into a rc4wd hard body, im not to keen on crawler kinds, I try to stick with axial based rigs because of the options and parts selection and aftermarket support.

Ok I'm bumping this thread back up because my son doesn't want a truck body. He wants a"real crawler body".I'm guessing comp style is what he meant. Any ideas. His is a wheely king modded to crawl. And I extended the wheel base a bit. Reversed chassis. Anyways any help is appreciated

Look for used New Bright RC's at garage sales , or craigslist and thrift shops...some are pretty scale looking and can be modded to fit as long as the wheel base fits

Well back at it again. I have a spare crawler king laying around so I'm building a 6x6.but they have an awkward monster truck frame. And I was thinking kinda militaryish looking. ....kinda unimog. .....along those lines. .....what would you do. .and starting with an axial ain't happening
