Questions?? Yeti 1/10 Electronics Build - Bashing

Hi all,

I posted a thread in the Monster truck section on recommendation for a basher for fun in parks, beach / sand and trails. My preference was an Axial Yeti which most people also recommended.

I dont need it for outright speed but just having fun with my 2-3 year old sons, they wont be driving but love watching and it will be a lead into the hobby when they are older.

So now I have chosen the Yeti kit, I don't want to place the order until the electronics are decided (for coupons and discounts). I just want to buy the once with the greatest flexibility.

Looking for water proof and resiliency.

I have a Futaba transmitter already, I also have two 2S Shorty LiPo's for my B5M but happy to buy something more suitable for this if needed rather than risk those in heavy offroad driving.

Motor -
Servo -
Batteries -

My thoughts are castle or Tekin for ESC & Motor, Futaba still for servo but happy to try HiTec or Savox maybe? Batteries maybe some cheap standard 2S LiPos, trackpower maybe?

Open to any and all ideas.
