Crawler axle?

Crawler axle?
Any idea how to attach another axle onto another rc to make it a 6 by 6? I'm planning to attach it to a tacon valor monster truck. Would I need to get an off brand crawler 6 by 6 kit or what? Thanks in advance!!

Ok what about that motor on axle?

Would the axial kit fit? Or the hpi better?

You could to attach a redcat rs10 axle thats moa but......gear ratio is probably different and motor rpm/torque is probably different also. It would be very much simpler to start with say an old ax10 and build a extra axle for the center. You can also do the same thing with a hpi wheely/crawler king. I would use the hpi myself since you can just get an extra axle then get a $10 axle housing and another ring and ,pinion and sand the 2 housing halves and build a center axle. There are vids on youtube of how to do it.

I have seen on RCCRAWLER where people have done this using TLT axles, like two front case halves and an extra pinion in the center axle. Not sure what else is involved but could be a start. Check out Tamiya big rigs, some of them have dual rear drive axles I believe.

I would listen to hotrod 87.my first Crawler cane from him and in the extras was a diff already made from hpi parts (crawler or wheely king).6x6 out of a hpi wheely king would perform well I think. And I have seen a few that the rear axle was basically almost a trailer with powered axle. Seemed simple and looked like it performed well also. Mad torque is a rtr 6x6.or 8x8.depends on the kit you order. But if you're set on fabbing your own look at hpi crawler king for a start
