Default Yeti XL battery compartments

Are they big enough to fit saddle packs with the jumper wires connected? heard they were kinda small. thanks!

You'll probably get an answer before I get home, but if not I'll let you know. I'm currently building mine and I don't believe they will fit as you describe. I think only hard wired packs from the top end will work. Also, if you look at the manual online it'll tell you the max battery dims.
