What comp crawler
 

I hAve a ax10, just looking for thoughts on what everyone would use as a comp crawler. Something that is really good over rocks and what not. Thanks

Keep that AX10 Deadbolt and hook it up.

It will be more than capable on the rocks, it's just a decision you have to make. How far do you want to go with it? :D

Is this a ax10 scorpion or the new style axles ?

Newer style axles. What about the gmade r1, or even some of the chassis kits like the bwd wedge chassis for the ax10, just want to make it my own

I did just pick up a gmade r1 myself and really like it. Bit noisy but thats ok. As always i started searching for other hopups,mods etc And found a chassis (sideplares only) for less than $20 thinking about picking one up to use with a set of scx10 axles. Cheap way to get started on a custom build.

There are lots of choices for chassis's just for comp. Just pick one you like and go to town with it. Tons of things you can do to make those axles bulletproof.
