I tried solar servos, you have to volt them up to 8v to get them to be halfway descent. All they are good for IMO is to take apart and make winches out of them. If you want a great servo for the money go to HobbyKing and look at the Turnigy 959 V2 servo. I run these on all my scalers and none have failed.

the solar servos suck i have two of them and they are very week my tactic out performs it with weighted 1.9 the solar is pushing 2.2 with no weight and even at 7 volts it was not very strong
