1934 Ford Truggy trail rig "Otis"

I'm starting my "winter" build a little early.

I started out with a RC4WD Boyer truggy chassis and a Parma '34 Ford pick up body.

I'm attempting to mount the 2 speed trans up front.

I am digging that. Can't wait to see where it goes.

Nice! Always dug the flexibility of that chassis! Cms front with 4 link front and rear may be a headache to sort out down the line but that's part if the fun!

maxmad 08-27-2014 02:54 PM

If I remember right that's what he runs on a few truck and it's a trail truck a little bump steer won't hurt anything

I have 2 or 3 other trucks set up the same way, no problems. I might go with a 3 link if I have clearance issues with the trans, but we will see.

Not much to report but here it is.

I made it out of balsa wood but the real one will be out of bass wood.
