Is the CC MMP really THAT good as a crawler esc?

I think my Xerun ESC is taking a dump. It starts out the day fine then starts acting up. I believe its the esc anyway.
But it has nice drag brake and good low end control with my Tekin ROC 412 3100kv motor. My only real issue with it is the forward/reverse with no brake, there is still a little pause before it initiates the other direction.
Whats the MMP like? I don't care that it can run 6s, I only run 2s right now and maybe 3s in the future. How is the control with it? Would you say it's better than the XeRun?

I don't know if it is better than the XeRun per-se, but I run mine with the Roc312 and it's a pretty nice combo. Smooth as butter.
Can really get in the weeds with the Castle Link and the settings, but I didn't adjust much from my end except just a touch of drag brake and lipo voltages - it felt fine for my needs out of the box.

Tough to beat the MMP as its one of the best and most versatile speedos out. I use them in offroad, oval, touring cars, and crawlers and it works great in each application.

I used MMP in my scx10 with a 21.5 brushless. worked awesome ran super cool and plenty of torque with a 14t pinion.
I am now using a brushed axial motor and a HPI FLUX Vapor ESC (Castle Sidewinder) The reason I replaced it is because in winter, I race on-road, so I use the MMP because it is sensored. The Flux/sidewinder is waterproof and is also identical to the Axial Brushed ESC in the scx10 but missing the white wire.

The mmp is one of the best esc's for crawling. Fully adjustable drag brake. If you run brushless, make sure it's sensored. Needs external bec for high torque servos. Only thing I don't like is, they should make it waterproof.

Just like what the others said, it is great for crawling
