Default What shocks are you guys running on your SCX10s

I'm curious to know what shock setups you guys are using on your SCX trucks. I have the stock 90mm shocks and I'd like to upgrade. I think I'd like to try 100mm shocks, perhaps get a little bit more travel but I'm not sure what to get. I'd prefer if it was something available through towerhobbies or a main stream company so I can get parts if need be however I'd consider something directly asian sold as well.

I've experimented a bit in the past, and just keep coming back to the stockers. 2 SCX10's both stock shocks with some green slime on the O-rings and 40wt oil. No leaks, and work fine. I did swap over to the Icon bodies on 1 set - doesn't feel any different, just looks cooler imo.

I did pick up a set of Integy scale shocks for my third truck, and they are basically the same height and diameter. So far, so good - no leaks and nice and smooth. Think I'll keep them on.

I have the STRC replacement shock setup on my SCX10 but didn't get a chance to run them yet. Few more parts to add before I start running it around. They do feel very smooth and since putting them on have not leaked in the 2 weeks they been built.

I run gmade 94mm zero shocks, extremely pleased with them om my rubicon, also have the 104mm version on my wraith..excellent in my opinion and easy to build and bleed.

I've got some traxxas rear big bores on the way. I know a couple guys that run the rear sc10 shocks too.

I'd recently came across some new old stock( maybe not so old ) duratrax evader shocks that included soft white springs. I initially felt that these were compatible( they work okay 100mm fronts and 93mm in the rear ) but leaked alittle. I'd also picked up proline scaler shocks which I haven't tried yet...maybe i'll rebuild the duratrax ones but meanwhile experiment with the scaler shocks.
