Building my crawler course. Help please.

Ok. I think I'm falling for rc crawling. Last week I traded my b4.1 for a axial xr10 and I was having a hard time finding a cool place close to home to crawl. I realized I had a ton of perfect sized rocks to build a track of my own. That's where it all started. Now I can't stop thinking about how to make bridges, crossovers, and impossible sections. I really need some suggestionson on what to do to make the track better. I know it needs to be longer but Ihave room to expand into my Backyard bar. The course makes its way up to the countertop on the outside of the bar. Here's what I have done so far.

What do you guys think. How can I make it better?

I think the single biggest improvement that could be made is the addition of another crawler so we can have a side by side competition when I come over :D

Something at least as good as your XR10 so the competition is fair

That is going to be a blast when I come over to sample the flykrisco brewery selections! :)

So far its worked out really well to come over and drive your crawler and swill your suds... why fix what's not broken

That looks like a swing set next to your crawler course. If children are playing in your backyard you need to take down those rocks.
Make a steep pile of rocks to climb up. You can have two parallel bars or poles to try and stay on, you can also create a zip line. Old pallets can be used to make a rope ladder bridge.
Don't let those rocks fall on any kids though.

Thanks for the info. I've done a ton of YouTube research and seen some crazy home courses. I think a complete redo is in order. I've upgraded my crawler and now I can just walk up the whole thing in one shot. Thanks for the concern for the kids also. What you can't tell from the pics is the rocks along the outside are glued down locking in the rest of the rocks.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see a redo taking the course further into the bar with a reverse area to get back out by the time I come over :D:tire:

You want a turn around? You want it deeper into the bar? How about a rope bridge? What about making it much harder with multiple lines? Cold beer?
Done, done, done, done and done.

you got a bargain if that is the xr10 you traded for! course looks sweet when i move into my new house i will be doing the same thing!

When I traded for the xr it was bone stock. I've added a ton of rocks (literally) and made it much more difficult. Here's a pic of what's coming next for my course. This pic was before it was epoxy coated and painted. Zno rc was good enough to sell me their foam course from axial fest last year in Cisco Grove. It is being packaged up as I type this. When you coming over fq06? http://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/...ps88ab1519.jpg

As soon as you can climb to the peak of that egg shaped center piece

Soon, wife's out of town for a couple days so I'll roll by in the next day or two :tire:

That is a balancing rock. It is supposed to look like Utah.

Like this. Pic of it coated and painted.

Juan, you seem to be doing a lot of traveling if you plan on stopping by all of these places...
