Default Bondo's Twin Hammer

I rebuilt this rig twice now and here's the final assembly and I'm really happy with it despite ditching the 2 spd trans which I honestly didn't use much anyway.

Stuff used;
MM-Pro ESC
Tekin Pro-4 3300kv
Castle BEC/output 7.4v
Hitec HST-5990TG Robot servo/Torque oz.7.4V/417oz/.14
Powered with Sky lipos 30C 2200mah
Custom painted body with gold pearl under Fl orange and Dk purple pearl
Custom interior with Stewie from Family Guy
Custom roof panel topped off with silver Carbon Fiber decal
500K in front diff
Beefed up rear drive shaft with alum and Styrene tube
Painted stock rims with MTHEAD Delrin BL rings with "BARCO"
Sniped tires for a more aggressive tread pattern, works very well and star cut foams
Spare tire carrier lowered 1/2" for way better COG
Stock shocks with 45wt Losi oil F&R
HotRacing aluminum Axial tranny with all steel gears
Titanium front skid and trans mounting plate for extra strenth
Spektrum RS300 RX

Titanium Skiddy plate and trans mount plate

Cut the cage up a little and relocated the spare tire mount 1/2" lower and bit more forward, this helped the COG dramatically.

Nice. How much have you spent so far for that build?

Kinda hard to say because I had almost everything already in my treasure draw, the only thing I bought specificily for this build was a clear body, the HR trans and beadlock rings.
The only reason I swapped the trans out was because the stock trans idler gear failed twice and it's a serious PITA to swap out so with a little extra work this last time should be the last time.

I will say this truck is a new kind of fun, it's stupid over powered but I seriously get 40+min run times with 2200mah with a lot of WOT. The lower COG makes it a great creeper for crawlerish type running and has the great handleing capabilities of a speed running truck. It'll do everything and better than most scalers just short of serious rock crawling. I love it.

Yes he makes them to fit a wide variety of wheels and from 8 bolt hole rings to the 24 count like I have in a few dozen designs.

I'm good man, you? I have the wheels on the way, but I can't find these BL rings anywhere. Where can I get them?

So its been awhile. Any changes made to the rig? How are you liking it? I'm thinking that after I finish my Wraith build I might be getting one of these.

All is well, I drive it like I stole and its taking the abuse like $5.00 prostitute.

Doing away with the stock trans has simplified everything and I'm loving it, it's one of more fun trucks I have to drive because it's multi- facitated and can be driven pretty every where plus has decent speed.
