Going to cut the wheel wells out more?

stanmondz 05-05-2012 06:23 PM

gonna have to. there only 3.5". thinking a set of dingo flairs will let me cut em out and cover up the cuts so i keep a good looking wheel well

cielo1889 05-06-2012 03:40 AM

looks good, and the dingo flares would set it perfect i think.

yeah.

the dingo flairs aren't going to work like i want em to.
ill have to cut all the molded in flairs off and then the flairs will go all the way to the body line. i don't think that will look right so im gonna scrap that idea

Should get some styrene and build some flairs.;)

If you were to spray the outside with grey primer w/ the white top, it would look almost exactly like my old K-5 Blazer. If I get a Dingo, I'm going to have paint one of these up.

Not meaning too thread jack but here is a picture of my scx10 / k5 with flares.

I only removed about a 1/4" off the front.
