Default Losi night crawler motor upgrade

hey guys , I dont comp , only for fun, what would be the best reliable brushed motor that has a lot of torque? I am thinking of the tekin 55t but its kinda expensive for a brushed motor, i am thinking of the Axial 55t as well and cant decide which one to get... do they have same performance and obviously quality difference? please help...

To be honest and I can't beleave I'm saying this cause I only run brushed in my crawlers but the worm gear axles in Losi's crawlers eat brushed motors for breakfast. I would recommend a brushless setup in Losi's comp/nite crawlers.

Keep in mind that despite what the Losi literature says, the stock Losi motor is a 35-turn motor. You will lose wheel speed if you go to a 55-turn motor. I am using a Holmes 35-turn and am very happy with it. Jerry

i agree that brushless works best in a losi shafty. if you were to stick with brushed a better cheap motor to try is a traxxas titan 550 21t.
