does it really make that big of a difference? because what i want to do with mine is put a tube cage and lower the center of gravity, but i know that makes me move the battery, and i dont want to spend the money and get a different battery. But if it makes an amazing differance then i will go ahead and do that.

no big battery, either a 2/3s lipo 1100 mah or a 7/8 cell sub/c nimh saddle pack, you will not like a tube chassis, and large stickpacks will really affect your ability to crawl. check out www.rccrawler.com that is a forum like this all about crawling. check out peoples rigs and get some ideas

the batts on my truck are 2s 800 mah shrink wrapped together and run in parallel to make 1600 mah
