that would have never happend if I couldnt lock my rear wheels. the rear dig will make you turn on a dime , and if you get really good you can hop you truck around obsticales(sp) . also helps when looking for traction check the end of this video, I would have rolled backwards if my rear wheels kept pushing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIzmm...eature=channel

You will need to install some method off disconnecting and locking the rear wheels thereby driving only the fronts. You will need to by either a DIG that works with the stock transmission or rplace that with a DIG/trans and a servo to shift it. That also means you will need at minimum a three channel radio and receiver.

Check out the digs here: http://rc4wdstore.com/2/index.php?cP...68f81893b162c3

I have a DNA dig in my ax-10 but i would reccomend a Vanquish Dig. I hear nothing but great things about them. If you get a 3 channel radio it will also have to have a 3 position switch on it.

I would seriously reccomend a Vanquish DIG though, it is cheaper than the ones listed in that site above. Axial team drivers use Vanquish digs and so do others that do will in comps.

a few years ago I did a video on my Axial AX10 and all of the modifications I did to it. I also explain the rear dig and how it is used. I used the RC4WD R2 Dig transmission. It was a heavy duty upgrade for about $100

I think you are referring to front dig (rear wheels locked). And Vanquish is the only way to go. If you are looking for rear dig (front wheels locked) check out RC4WD.

I just bought a Vanquish, hopefully that's all i need. I have a Futaba S3003. I think that will be sufficent enough.
