I Need Help In Building My Crawler
#1

Hello.
I want to ask help from you guys who have a crawler.
Right now I have a two projects run at the same time.
I call them;
1. OEM RC Car - Use Original Equipment Manufacturer. Mean buy kits.
2. Homemade RC Car - Use materials around our house creatively to build the crawler. Use as little as possible oem kits.
This is just a two channel car.
I've got my radio already from one guy here.
Next, building the body.
For chasis, someone recomends me AX10.
How many type of chassis actually there is?
What are the best even can climb any rocks?

What I did was bought a Losi Mini Crawler beater. Cost me $100.00. That way I would have just about everything I needed including electronics. Then I went from there. I turned the mini crawler into a scale crawler. (not quite finished yet) I made a new chassis, new links, new servo mount, new bumpers ect. because of the price I paid for the crawler I could put a few dollars in to it.
It's a great way to learn how to build something from scratch.

I just looked around until I found what I was looking for. I watched this forums for sale threads, Crawcanada, RCCrawler and even graigslist. It took the better part of 3 weeks to find one cheap.
When it is done I will post pictures. I am waiting for some new tires to come in, and I have to redo the proto type chassis. Should be about a week or so untill it is all done.

This is helping to clear my blurr...

I think I just wait after Chinese New Year to order my body shell.
BTW, can I ask, where you bought your body?
I tried ebay but the shipping cost to my place is more than the price of the body itself...

Parts list?
BTW, what is the name of that aluminium plate?
How to say its name to buy it I mean.

And what tool you use to cut it, was it using a grinder?

There is no parts list mate....this is a custom buit rig.....used Wheely king diffs/trany/drive lines.....the rest has been hand crafted.
