Default Bearing Removal from Closed Side of Portal Axle Cover

I am trying to build a crawler, but the kit has 2 of 4 portal axle cover machined not wide enough to put in 2 bearings without carefully pressing them in place.

I did come across people who had the same scenario where they press the bearing in anyway. I have to extract the bearing on the closed end of the cover as the bearing is not spinning freely afterwards. What can I do to extract a bearing without beating up the aluminum portal axle cover without special tools?
