Default Noob Crawler Question

I have a Traxxas TRX4 Sport Built Kit on the way this will be my first crawler.
My question is can i use a regular ESC and Sensored Motor?
I have spare Hobbywing XR10 Pro and a few motors to choose 21.5T 17.5T 13.5T and many MOD motors.
As you may know the Hobbywing ESC have a Crawler Profile are any of these usable for a crawler ?
I won't be competing or anything with this its just to mess around at my local park or trails.

Give it a shot. I'd suggest the 21.5 to start.

Be careful crawling make sure your checking your Temps. I've read that sensored motors can get really hot crawling. Not sure how true that is. I would run the 21.5.

You'll definitely want to watch the temps, while crawling is slower, it can put a strain on the motor and ESC system.

If you want to try BL, I'd look at the HW AXE combo, several crawling buddies use it with great success.
(IMO, if you have any interest in getting it wet or ? I would consider the stock brushed setup safer than the system you described as I don't think it would be WP).

The stock system is VERY good and provides plenty of GO, esp when you add 3s power to it.

Just something to consider
