Default Who has a Barrage

Iv had an ECX Barrage collecting dust for a good while and decided to throw some parts at it and turn it into something cool. So far I have the redcat aluminum spools in both axles, Amazon beadlocks, Proline Hyrax tires and the Proline Sumo body. Im currently 3D printing a bunch of parts for the car and even designed a basic interior for the car. Ill post progress as it comes.

I have a Gen 2 Barrage 1.55 with a Sumo body on it as well. I love this rig! I have actually spent some time in fixing what I felt was the biggest issue with the Barrage...steering. In order to be Class 1 legal, I designed a CMS mount and trimmed the servo plate mounting tubes off of the axles. I then developed an all-new steering setup utilizing Axial AR44 universals. I created a C-hub that mounts directly to the Barrage axle case (no mods) and then allows an Axial AR44 knuckle to be mounted. This is almost a completely bolt-on system. The only thing that needs to be modified is the AR44 universals. There are two areas that have a 5mm diameter that need to be ground down to 4mm, as the stock ECX axles have 4x8x3 bearings. No length needs to be taken off of the universals and they slide directly into the stock axle spool.

Stock steering angle on the left...modified on the right. HUGE difference
