Default Axial scx 10.2 honcho

I wanted a second rig so I chose this model, seemed like a good value for the money. Trying to keep this one pretty stock for now, just changed wheel tires.

Nice pic. What's your thoughts on this? Is it any different from any other SCX10 II other than the body? $329 seems like a decent RTR price.

I've never owned a 10.2 so I can't compare with that, but I have owned a deadbolt. I got the deadbolt used but it needed upgrades right away, links and steering at least, the stock stuff was junk. I was in the market for a second crawler that I did not want to invest a lot in. I did replace the fake dean's because it was not making good connections with batteries. Links and steering are pretty beefy and will only replace when it brakes or wear out. I replaced rims and tires and that's about it. I also noticed it's very quite you can't really hear it drive. Other option was the gen 7 but it seems to lack support and upgrades.

Well I got a few more weeks under my belt and still love this part, I have only really been upgrading if stuff breaks, first I had broke the front bumper mount, I replaced that with metal, then the bumper broke so I just upgraded then, this thing will pretty much climb anything.

Nice rig , I never own a scx 10.2 before would like to try it. But I think u wont go wrong with a scx , be it a scx 10 or scx 10.2

If I buy I will get the kit version , as I prefer Hobbywing ESC.
