Default SP12G2/3 Tube damper conversion?

I love my (10 year old) SP12G2.

So far I made it a G2.5 by adding the G3 motorpod/T-bar.

Since I still prefer this design over the current models I would like add the tube damper to this car.

Does anybody have an idea if this will be able to make it fit?

Fairly sure we worked out in the UK a while back that it was possible - although i have no idea if anyone tried it.

Based on:-

The G3 pod and origional 12M pod are apparantly the same - so the 12M tube damper pod should fit.

The G3 radio tray has the same fixings as the 12M tube tray, so that would fit.

You should be able to find afront point to attach the centre shock.

The only thing i'm not sure about would be the tweak plate. This mounts to the "T" bar mount on the 12M, but as I assume you're using G3/G2 T Bar/mount, not sure if/how/where you'd be able to fit the tweak plate.

Matt,

Thanx for the confirmation. I ssumed it would be possible but it's a bit to expensive for just an experiment.

I'm not interested in the tweak option, with good care a G3 shouldn't be tweaked.
