Thinking of getting a 12M on the trade forum, how much would it cost to convert it to the dampener tubes set up, how much of a difference does it make in the car? Thanks for your help!

Going with the tube dampening system will definately make a difference in the way the car feels. the conversion kit retails for around 130us. Dont forget, your not just getting the tubes in the kit, you also get the shock, rear pod assembly and radio tray.

I have an SP12M, with a cells rearward chassis.

Will adding the tube dampener conversion = an "Ahomieni" model or are there other changes as well? I think I saw references to roll centre changes but that could have been one of my senior moments. (when brain has a little downtime).

nikos2002....... Street Price on the conversion is $90.

Pedro51....... Ahoniemi Edition has aluminum front wishbones, ball bearing supported steering blocks which has different ackerman locations, fiberglass t-bar and the roll centers on the t-bar and front arms. Along with the dampner tube conversion.
